In April of 2022, Goldman Sachs bought ImOn Communications and launched us on a trajectory of rapid growth. It was at once apparent that our fledgling IT group needed some propping up. We contacted Freeman Clarke USA about an interim CIO. We are very thankful that David Birnbaum was placed with ImOn Communications.
In short order, David triaged ImOn’s IT situation, organised our priorities, and implemented a 30-day plan to address the major gaps. Under David’s leadership, he leveraged ImOn’s existing systems, improved our cyber security profile, updated critical software releases, corralled our scattered technology systems, and defined our critical hiring needs.
Most importantly, David’s confident, collaborative approach reassured everyone he interacted with, allowing him to become an integral member of the ImOn leadership team. Not only did Freeman Clarke provide ImOn with an outstanding interim CIO, but also a person who aligned with ImOn’s culture and fit right into my senior staff. ImOn is off to a great start thanks to David and Freeman Clarke USA.
