Health Economics and Outcomes Research Ltd (HEOR) is an independent health economics consultancy specialising in evidence generation, data analytics, market access, and value communication. From its UK offices, it delivers innovative, strategic, and novel solutions backed by academic excellence to many global pharmaceutical organisations.
HEOR has been expanding rapidly to meet the demand for its advanced modeling and analytics services, expanding project teams, geographic growth, and increasing use of sophisticated R-based tools on big data projects.
In May 2021, Freeman Clarke was engaged to work with the business and its IT suppliers to review the IT environment and prepare a set of technology and process recommendations to help the business scale to the next level. Lead Principal Jeremy Hylandhelped the smooth delivery of an imminent technology migration, then worked with the IT service provider to consolidate their services.
Jeremy also worked with internal projects teams to select and adopt secure and compliant technologies to assist with project delivery and delivery of new services, identifying and engaging with trusted specialist partners to assist with this. As part of meeting the growing organisational needs, he has supported the development of internal IT capabilities, worked with the management team to select and upgrade core business systems, and is supporting the journey to ISO 27001 certification.
Rachel Livermore, Director of Operations and Consulting Excellence commented:
‘Jeremy has been an invaluable partner and critical friend at a time of significant growth and investment for our business. His highly knowledgeable, professional and calm approach has provided huge value to the business during a period of significant change.
We have particularly valued Jeremy’s ability to interrogate the technical detail and get hands-on when necessary, whilst maintaining a strategic focus on understanding and supporting the long term needs and priorities of the business. We see Jeremy and the outstanding advisory service he provides as a critical success factor in our growth plans.’
