Experience & expertise

Michael is an accomplished CTO and technology leader having spent over 22 years in several customer-centric, eCommerce, retail and B2C organisations in client-side and consulting positions. He has been a CTO for over 11 years, working at Board level with privately owned and VC/PE-backed businesses to lead and shape technology transformations that deliver real business value.

With a background in software development and architecture, experience across a wide range of technology systems, and a problem-solving and analytical mindset, Michael is able to tackle a wide range of problems to drive bottom-line performance and add tangible business value. He also has excellent commercial acumen and an MBA from Warwick Business School.

Background & approach

Some of his previous successes include: a major ERP implementation for the UK’s leading photography retailer; the creation of a new digital channel for a luxury fine wine company; and the creation of short- and long-term systems enabling a UK DIY business to launch and grow its physical retail estate to several hundred outlets.
