Experience & expertise

Julian Price joined Freeman Clark in early 2018. He brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in the technology sector where he has led the development of solutions for a diverse range of organisations across the Retail Banking, Public Safety and Entertainment sectors. Working on behalf of Camelot Group, Microsoft and Compaq Computer Corporation he has built high-performing teams and award-winning solutions across the US, Canada, France and Germany. A subject matter expert in online safety, privacy, consumer protection, and education he has influenced buy-in from cross-functional staff to C-suite leaders.

Background & approach

He established Microsoft and MSN as leaders in child and online safety globally. As Chief Technical Officer of the UK’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre, Julian collaborated with government agencies, Homeland Security, The Royal Canadian Mounted Police and UK’s Serious Organised Crime Agency to design and build technology solutions for a new police force. He was recognised twice with Microsoft’s Circle of Excellence awards presented by Bill Gates himself. Julian’s commitment to shaping technology as a lever for change and business growth started more than two decades ago when he consulted on technology to Compaq Computer Corporation’s clients, Lloyds TSB, Barclays and Natwest. Julian is a native Londoner and currently resides in Hertfordshire where he can be found playing tennis and leading events for his local club.
