Experience & expertise

With a background in engineering Guy moved into the application of technology to business early in his career, and has worked across start-ups, SMEs and as a Board Member and CIO of large international businesses, in Europe, the US and Australia.

Guy’s sector knowledge is broad, but his deep experience is in retail, hospitality, leisure, transport and distribution.

Guy has real-world experience of Audit, Risk and Investment, the creation of data functions in large and small businesses and the opportunity that data brings together the governance, regulation and compliance issues it needs. Guy has a particular experience of value creation in business through extensive work on M&A, Transformation and delivery to Private Equity Owners.

Guy graduated from Cambridge University  and ENSAM, Paris.

Background & approach

Guy’s style is structured and organised but practical. Despite deep technical skills, he understands technology exists in organisations to support growth, delight customers, deliver business outcomes and allow the employees to deliver effective performance in an engaged way.

He brings a balance of people focus, methods, tools and structures and the ability to develop a north star for the business objectives, not just the technology journey.
