One to one coaching is priced separately and dependent on requirements.
CIOs and CTOs should be naturally interested in developing their direct reports, particularly from a succession planning point of view. However, very few actually do. By paying for you to join a Mentor Group, they can do just that in a very cost-effective way. We strongly suggest you make the case to your CIO/CTO and we can help with case-studies and ways to approach this should you want our help.
We want our Mentor Groups to be high calibre and be taken seriously by those joining, and for all the benefits of being a member, this is significant value for money.
This is a chance for you to invest in yourself; and there are precious few opportunities to do that in a senior IT Leader’s career to the top. Your CIO/CTO should welcome the idea of you joining a Mentor Group because it’ll help them too. An IT Leader growing through external independent and impartial experts has to be a good thing for the IT function and your CIO/CTO.
We ask that you commit to a 12-month engagement with the group which rolls over every year for another 12-month engagement. The biggest gain from being a member is in the long-term; you’ll look back after a couple of years and hardly recognise yourself.
