Speakers Rod Bulmer Executive Coach and Co-founder, Hedgehog
Rod has held several board-level positions during his corporate career at Abbey National, Santander Retail and Co-op Bank. He was the Retail MD during the Co-op crisis in 2013 where he was appointed Bank CEO and was central to the eventual bank rescue, dealing directly with the regulators and the Bank of England. From there he moved to Co-op Group where he became CEO of the Consumer Services division with responsibility for all funeral, legal, insurance and travel operations. Over the last 4 years Rod has built a strong portfolio of investment, advisory and NED positions. He works with several digital start-up and scale-up businesses across multiple sectors. He has overseen successful exits but has also seen some businesses fail or go into administration. He was a non-Exec at the Legal Ombudsman, part of the Legal Board for the UK. More recently, Rod has co-founded Hedgehog, which provides strategy and consulting services and executive coaching. He is currently a coach, advisor and mentor to several CEOs.
