Rory is a renowned rugby player who scored 49 tries for England and won 7 caps for the British Lions. He played for 14 years at Leicester Tigers and was awarded the MBE in 1992 for his services to rugby. He spent 13 years as a non-executive Director on the Board of Leicester Tigers. Rory spent 18 years in the Royal Air Force where he introduced Crew Resources Management training into the RAF, developing a culture of teamwork and decision-making in time-limited, stressful situations.
Rory has expertise in effective communication and high-performance leadership within teams. He is an experienced facilitator, psychometric profiler, and performance coach. He uses his experiences from his time within high-performance organisations and teams to explore the relationship between values and motivation, bound together by trust, to enable the creation and sustenance of a high-performance team ethos within the organisation.
Rory combines his wealth of experience from international sport, the military, extreme human achievement, and the tried and tested formula of personal and team development to create processes for individuals, teams, and organisations to inspire performance.
